True tastes of the Dolomites

Every week we organize dinners with local Ladin dishes and traditions. While skiing you can enjoy the typical Italian food like spaghetti Bolognese or real Lasagne. One evening though you should try the culinary experience with the local alpine food like spinach dumplings, barley soup, pork shank and pork ribs with mountain herbs, polenta (maize porridge) with goulash and you can't miss the apple strudel of course. The simple traditional recipes were kept for generations and now you can try them all in our Special Ladino evenings. Combined with a local wine you will experience the authentic tastes of the Dolomites.

Wine & Cheese tasting

The Dolomites are in Italy and Italy is the land of wine and good food. On your holidays you will enjoy the local specialties or the most famous Italian pasta or pizza. On our ski hosting days we will take you to the best mountain huts where you can try the real spaghetti Carbonara or Bolognese or some of the local dishes like pork shank or Polenta (maize porridge) with sausage and mushrooms. Not to forget the real Italian coffee!

We organize special evenings at the Sporthotel Arabba where you can taste the best local and Italian wine and cheese. There are a few local dairy farms that produce cheese only from the milk of the mountain cows. You can also try the most famous Italian cheese like Gorgonzola, Mozzarella or Parmesan!! Taste the variety of real Italian wines from the famous vineyards surrounding the Dolomites.

 Apres ski

This popular activity after skiing has its origins in Austria, but the Dolomites are famous for its Apres ski bars as well. Probably the most famous apres ski bar of the Dolomites is "Murin" in Corvara. It is located right on the runs in Corvara and you can't miss it because already at 4 pm you can hear the loud music, people singing and having fun. On our weekly programme we organize a ski trips ending in Corvara with a boot bop at Murin and transfer back to resort, so that you can enjoy the fun of dancing in your ski boots and drinking with your friends.

Arabba has a very lively Apres ski called Bar Peter. It is located right in the centre of Arabba and it gets very busy in the afternoons when people are coming back from skiing. You can't miss this one either because of the loud music and people having fun and drinking beer or the famous Venetian Spritz (sparkling wine with orange liqueur Aperol).
