The Tre Valli ski
area comprises 27 lifts and over 100 km of pistes at an altitude between
1150 m - 2500 m. It also contains an artificial snow network which is able to
cover 100% of slopes. The area is perfect for all ski abilities and provides a
variety of blue, red and black runs.The
Falcade Ski School has a number of English speaking ski/snowboard instructors
and a dedicated nursery area for beginner adults and children.
A famous ski circuit, known as
the ‘Ski tour delle Emozioni’ (tour of emotions) starts from the lift station in Falcade. It winds
its way through the trees passing alpine huts and taking in
views of the Dolomite peaks. These impressive mountain peaks
include the San Martino group, the Catinaccio and the Marmolada.
The Falcade Cross Country Ski Centre
offers 40 kms of trails for all levels.
Cross country ski instructors and rental are located in the
centre of the resort.
For those who wish to explore other areas under the Dolomiti
Ski pass, it is possible to take the efficient ski bus
service from Passo San Pellegrino to Moena, from Falcade to
Alleghe - Civetta ski area and to
Malga Ciapela - Arabba/Marmolada
Falcade
is the main town in Biois Valley, the closest airports are
Venice and Verona (approx. 2 - 2 ½ hours) . Low cost
transfers are provided by the Dolomiti Stars consortium from
Venice airport. The town contains a seletion of après-
ski bars, live music and traditional alpine cafès along
with shops, banks and all other facilities you would require
from a ski resort.
