Terms & Conditions
Making a Booking
In order to confirm your holiday, we require a deposit of 30% of accommodation value. We will send you an invoice showing a breakdown of costs in euros, deposit amount, final balance, exchange rate used and details for bank transfer. The balance is due six weeks prior to the arrival date and exhange rate will be advised just prior to payment due date.
Flights and Transfers
We are happy to book your flight and transfer on your behalf, however for flights we would require a higher deposit to cover the cost of the booking. Also we cannot accept any responsibility for cancellations or unforseen events that may occur before or during your flight/ transfer. You must adhere to the terms and conditions of the relevant flight/transfer companies, a copy of which can forward to you at the time of booking.
Changes by you
Should you need to change any detail of your booking we will make every effort to accommodate this request subject to reasonable notice being given.
Cancellation by you
The following charges will be applied:
More than 6 weeks - Deposit
Between four and six weeks - 50% refund of holiday price
Less than four weeks - No refund
Changes or Cancellation by us
While we will always endeavour to meet our obligations fully, we cannot accept liability or responsibility for circumstances beyond our control by reason of war, threat of war, riot, civil unrest, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or all other similar events beyond our control. To protect yourself against such eventualities, we recommend you take out adequate insurance.
In the unlikely event that we need to change or cancel your holiday, you will receive a full and prompt return of all monies already paid.
Your Responsibilities
Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realise the inherent risks and hazards of any excursions/tours you participate in, and agree to take responsibility for your actions and own safety. Special requests, any medical issues or conditions, must be brought to our attention at time of booking. We cannot be held liable for any actions or events which could have been avoided with proper disclosure of information.
Personal property is always your own responsibility, as is ensuring that you have all appropriate passport and visa requirements for the duration of your holiday.
Our Responsibilities
We accept responsibility for ensuring that the holiday you book with us meets the obligations described herein to a reasonable standard. If you have a justifiable complaint about any of our services forming part of the holiday confirmed, we will supply reasonable compensation up to a maximum of the holiday cost.
If you, or any memeber of your group, sufers damage by our faiure to provide the services we offer, we accept liability except in the following cicumstances
If the failure or improper performance is your fault or the fault of any member of your party.
If the failure is the fault of someone else not connected with the provision of services which make up the holiday we have confirmed to you.
Any unusual and unforeseeable circumstance beyond our control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if due care had been exercised.
Prices
As our prices are prepared many months before the holiday period we reserve the right to increase or decrease our price prior to booking to take into account unforeseen circumstances. All booking invoices/quotations shown in euros will be subject to changes in exchange rate. You will be informed of any such changes prior to payment due.
Insurance
All customers should ensure that they are covered (insurance or otherwise) for any cancellation or medical occurances (which covers Winter Sports). Also, please ensure that any insurance policy you have covers you for any optional activities that you may want to participate in, such as off-piste skiing, parapenting etc. If you are in any doubt, please check with your insurer.
Complaints
Any problems or complaints about holiday should be raised in resort at the earliest opportunity, when we may act promptly to rectify the situation to your satisfaction. If you require further action on return we will try and work towards an agreed settlement, but you must notify us in writing within 21 days of the completion of the holiday.
Lift Passes
Ski lifts operate in accordance with local law and regulations. If lifts are not operating because of weather conditions we accept no responsibility for refunding any part of the price of a lift pass. If you are injured and can no longer use your lift pass you are able to claim a refund locally via the Super Dolomiti Ski pass organisation.
Ski Guiding
The company of our ski guides on the slopes is expressly not included in the holiday price, but is a complimentary favour given at their discretion. They are not qualified ski or mountain guides and you accompany them at your own risk. Simply Dolomiti can bear no responsibility for your safety on the mountain with or without our ski guides.
